We are a family run business, the farm having been in our family for several generations.

Welcome to Battens Farm, our working Organic family- run farm, in the heart of the Cotswolds. Our accommodation extends to two fully furnished holiday cottages, available all year round and the ideal base for exploring the idyllic countryside and Cotswold villages that surround us. Stable Cottage is a 2 bedroom cottage, consisting one double and one single bedroom, a bathroom and full kitchen, dining and living room facilities, as well as a private garden and terrace area. The Farm House is a larger 4 bed home, accommodating up to 6 guests across 2 double and 2 single bedrooms, with an upstairs and downstairs bathroom and again, fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room facilities. Both properties benefit from full, private use for the whole term of your stay; a real home- from- home in which you can enjoy more than just a comfy bed for the night, but a place to relax, unwind and chill out in front of the fire with your nearest and dearest. We have plenty of parking available on site, and guests are invited to explore the picturesque stable yard, home to our award- winning race horses, or use our hard court Tennis court! All whilst taking in the tranquil setting in this quiet corner of rural Wiltshire. We aim to give guests the space and peace that they need to relax, with all the essentials provided for you within your accommodation, whilst also supplying a hearty breakfast of your choosing, made to order each day and delivered right to your door!

Although only a short distance from Junction 17 of the M4, our rural location allows guests peace and tranquillity, amongst the 200 acres of Organic pastureland that we have managed for generations and is still used to graze our herd of cattle and horses. We are ideally located for exploring the stunning nearby Cotswolds, including the iconic villages of castle Combe and Lacock; both locations featuring in family favourites such as Harry Potter, War Horse and Stardust! Both are only a short 10 minute drive away. Slightly further a- field, the historic and vibrant city of Bath is only a 20 minute drive, or reachable by Chippenham train station with trains every half hour. The charming towns of Corsham, Malmesbury and Tetbury are also only a short distance away and easily reachable by car; take a day trip and enjoy the wonderful eateries, antique shops and boutique shopping experiences each offers!
