Had everything we needed. Good size sitting room, comfortable bedrooms, good shower rooms and great fully functional and well equipped kitchen. A small fan in each bedroom would be a nice thought as the rooms were very hot when we stayed.

Hi, my name is Catherine.
Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place. Perfectly located in East Looe, yards from the bustling harbour and a few minutes walk from the sandy beach, Quayside Cottage is a beautiful bright and cosy contemporary home. Upstairs, vaulted ceilings and exposed beams are a feature throughout and complement the bright kitchen/diner. The balcony in the master bedroom overlooks the beautiful harbour and picturesque West Looe. Cafés, restaurants, pubs and shops within walking distance! Looe is a lively, vibrant, heritage, seaside town with a great choice of independent places to eat, drink and shop. The cottage is ideally situated to experience all that the town has to offer on your doorstep. Please note that Quayside Cottage is in a central harbour location and adjoins a traditional Cornish pub. This means that the area can be lively at times, especially at weekends in summer. While many guests enjoy the atmosphere and convenience of being right in the heart of Looe, those seeking a very quiet setting may prefer a different location. They have live music acts on Friday and Saturday nights from 9 p.m. until closing time. The benefits, of course, are that you are minutes away from the beach and everything else in East Looe. The town can get very busy in the summer months and the narrow lanes throughout the town get very congested with both pedestrians and occasional cars.
Welcome to Quayside Cottage, East Looe. From the first time I visited Looe, I fell in love with it and have now achieved my dream of owning a beautiful cottage in the centre of East Looe, right on the harbour with a balcony overlooking the river and up the hill to West Looe.
Looe boasts the beautiful town beach and the iconic Banjo Pier. The charming seaside town and picturesque working harbour ensure that Looe is a popular holiday destination, particularly in the warmer months. You can wander the maze of narrow streets and alleys or shop, eat and drink at the wide variety of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants in East and West Looe. If you are a fan of BBC's Beyond Paradise starring Kris Marshall, Looe plays the fictional town of Shipton Abbott.. The show frequently films at Looe's New Guildhall, Banjo Pier and Fore Street while the Sardine Factory in West Looe features as Martha's new café. Fans of the show can follow in the footsteps of Humphrey and Martha and discover Looe’s secrets on a walking tour. Looe has a variety of activities to keep visitors happy: boat trips; coastal walks; fishing excursions; crabbing for the children; or just lounge on the beach and explore the rock pools. Seals are regularly seen in the bay and sometimes in the river. The Looe Valley Train Line runs from Looe to Liskeard running through beautiful wooded scenery by the side of the river. From Liskeard, visitors can travel to St. Ives or other parts of the country with ease. Seafood can be enjoyed at many of the town's restaurants and cafes; choose from fresh oysters or crab to traditional fish and chips. Looe is an historical fishing port and has years of maritime history with the narrow streets full of old fishermen's cottages and Looe Museum with its artefacts relating to Looe's seafaring past. The nature reserve of Looe Island, just off the coast, is a haven for wildlife lovers with its grey seals and rare bird sightings. Looe is a friendly and welcoming place to visit; come and enjoy the traditional Cornish hospitality.
