The onsite Tavern Bar & Grill is open from late March to the end of October every year. The swimming pool is open all year, please check with reception for dates around Christmas and New Years. I advise when traveling to Hengar Manor to go via the A395 off the A30 towards Camelford. Doing this means you will avoid the narrow Cornish country lanes all the way to the villa. If you have traveled to Cornwall before you'll know it is hard avoid those pesky narrow lanes! The Decor gives the home a relaxed countryside seaside cottage feel. The main bedroom has a balcony with a view & Rattan Furniture to enjoy your morning coffee. Bed Linen & bath towels are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who don't want to eat out every night. It has an Oven,Fridge,Freezer, Kettle,Toaster, Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine with Dolce gusto pods for guests & lots of the pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc. 2 Downstairs Bathrooms I've installed Fast Private 50 mbps Unlimited Data Wifi in the property so any modern family can keep functioning as normal. I have installed Netflix, Disney+ and YouTube Premium (no ads) on the Firestick attached to the HD TV so the whole family has something to watch in the evening. Freeview Digital Included.

I just really wanted to buy my first property and instead of buying my first home I decided to buy a holiday home! And I really fell in love with this one. My girlfriend and I have put our blood sweat and tears into bringing the property up to date, comfortable and relaxing for our guests. I am very excited to have guests stay and enjoy the country park as much as we have! We have been on walks, played mini golf, tennis, table tennis, swam many times. I even gave the golf course a go despite my lack of golf skills. Day to day I work in an office so I love to get out and enjoy the countryside and now the seaside too! It really is the best of both at Hengar Manor. Our favourite local family beach is a less well known one called Porthpean Beach. It has nice easy roads down to it and is very picturesque, shallow waters, kids can play in the sand and if you are brave enough to swim in cool waters of the atlantic then give it a go! You can find a picture of Porthpean in the gallery. There is of course the other lovely places such as Padstow, Newquay, Port Isaac, The Eden Project and Tintagel Castle. The Camel Trail is only 1.3 miles away for those who like a good walk or cycle.

The family fun part about this place is the pool, 9 Hole Par 3 course, fishing lakes, tennis, pool table and walks in the country park. I have gone the extra mile to supply golf clubs, golf balls, Tees, 2 Tennis Rackets, Badminton rackets so you don't have to rent them or have to stop playing before reception shuts at 6pm as its still often sunny after 6! Pub and shop onsite. For those fishing addicts the lakes are stock piled with fish so you will not come home disappointed. It is actually a great place to take your little ones fishing for the first time. Just make sure you buy a week long fishing license which can be purchased online on the day. You can rent all the fishing gear for one person for a reasonable price on site. I have included some fishing nets as it really is that easy to catch fish at the lakes you can even use a simple small net! For essentials there's a corner shop on site otherwise I advise going to Aldi Bodmin or Asda Superstore Bodmin via the B3266 (narrow lanes avoidance) Both are less than 20 minutes away. There is also a Home Bargains store near Aldi and a B&M Bargains store next to Asda.
