Box Cottage is a small but perfectly formed 200-year-old Cotswold cottage hidden away in a quiet spot behind Broadway’s bustling main street. Inside you’ll find charming interiors with exposed wooden beams, original windows, and stunning parquet floors. On the ground floor, there’s a cosy living room, dining room and compact and bijou kitchen that has everything you need, upstairs are two well-appointed, spacious bedrooms. One is a king and the other a twin-bedded room, which can be made up as a king on request (must be requested at least a week in advance of arrival) and the cottage bathroom with a double shower and a wonderful, high ceiling. There is also a cloakroom on the ground floor. Tucked behind Box Cottage is a charming courtyard garden, enveloped by traditional Cotswold stone walls and a beautiful wisteria-clad pergola, offering welcome shade on sunny days. Box Cottage does not have allocated parking however there is free on-street parking for one car on Back Lane. Dogs are not permitted. Box Cottage does not accept children under the age of 12. Please note, if you would like bedroom 2 to be arranged as a king-size, please contact us directly 7 days before arrival.

The north Cotswolds is crammed-full of attractions sure to keep visitors happy no matter what the weather, with Broadway itself full of must-sees within walking distance of Box Cottage. History-buffs will love The Broadway Museum and Art Gallery (5-minute walk), a community museum which tells the town’s history through art, as well as Broadway Tower (35-minute walk); a spectacular monument atop an ancient beacon site overlooking the town from its 65ft vantage point. The National Trust property Snowshill Manor is also just a 7-minute drive for those in search of a stately day out, whilst Batsford Arboretum (25-minute drive) offers a picturesque breath of fresh air amidst glorious woodland for those looking to stretch their legs. Slightly further afield, Cotswold Lavender (10-minute drive) is an absolute must during the warmer months with fields upon fields of vibrant purple lavender to explore, including a distillery where the lavender is harvested for essential oil each summer. Distillery fans will also love Cotswolds Distillery at Stourton (30-minute drive) where you can get hands-on with the intricacies of whisky and gin making; the perfect day-out for fans of a tipple or two.
