Hidden away at the end of a long and winding country track, just outside the peaceful hamlet of Foscot, Brock Cottage is a bohemian and eclectic retreat in a magical setting. The interior design is dramatic, vibrant, and unique whilst outside there are naturally beautiful gardens surrounded by trees. With six bedrooms and two mezzanine sleeping areas offering plenty of flexibility, the cottage is perfect for large families or friends with children. The spacious interior includes a fabulous open-plan kitchen-living room, warmed by a huge wood-burning stove and flanked by a wall of sliding glass doors that open fully to the enclosed garden. Please note a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. Please note, if you would like bedroom 2 to be arranged as a twin, please contact us directly 7 days before arrival. It is the policy of this property not to take bookings for groups where the majority of guests are under the age of 25, or single-sex group celebrations, including stag/hen parties. This property is ideal for family groups. 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome for an additional fee of 40 GBP per dog. This fee is not included in the rental price. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog/s and you will be sent a request for the additional fee. There are 2 sets of steep staircases (one in the Annex and one in Bedroom 6), a small set leading down to the utility room, and down to the annexe, plus a large step from the kitchen to the hallway. Sleeps 14 (maximum of 10 adults) Brock Cottage is on the Foxholes Nature Reserve and the owners have been asked by the estate to make guests aware that the reserve has strict noise and light pollution rules – including for animal welfare reasons. Therefore, please refrain from playing loud music outside, or with the doors open after dark.

Brock Cottage sits within the 165-acre Foxholes Nature Reserve, which is a vision of wildflowers during the spring and summer. Autumn is no less spectacular as the trees explode with colour. The house is surrounded by walking trails including the 1.75-mile Wildlife Walk through the reserve – just follow the badger waymarkers. The village of Kingham is 2 miles away and has a couple of excellent pubs, whilst the King's Head in Bledington is a 2-minute car journey or a 20-minute walk.
