Situated at the end of Batson Creek, Salcombe, this beautiful traditional Devon 3 bedroomed Cottage offers a perfectly tranquil escape right on the edge of the Salcombe Estuary. Immerse yourself in the stunning view from the elevated patio over the water, enjoy a glass or two of your favourite tipple and get the wood fired outdoor pizza oven prepared for supper! Paddle boarding or kayaking is right on your doorstep and with the tide in your favour, Salcombe beckons with its fabulous sunrises, long summer beach days and unrivalled sunsets! We have a dedicated private permitted parking space two mins from the Cottage so parking is no issue! There are also two further car parks along the Creek in Salcombe which is only a 10-15 minute stroll along the Creek path to access.

Having been a host now for some 15 years, the thrill of providing a location to make wonderful memories in is what motivates me. That alongside the most stunning location really does allow a sense of fulfilment and pride in our countryside and community! I am a keen marathon runner and love to get in my kayak and explore the Salcombe estuary, taking in our amazing bird and wildlife (including Sammy the Seal and Henry the Heron!) You are guaranteed a fabulous holiday and will be spoilt for choice in all weathers here in Salcombe and the South Hams!

We are located at the end of Batson Creek, a 10-minute walk into beautiful Salcombe along a flat path) and the bespoke and designer shops, pubs and restaurants it offers. There is a foot ferry from Salcombe to East Portlemouth (10 min crossing) which allows you access to Mill Bay, a beautiful sandy beach that is family friendly. Another little colourful ferry runs to South Sands along the estuary, allowing you to alight via sea tractor onto the sand South Sands beach. Here there is also a Hotel, Restaurant and bar. North Sands is accessed by car or foot, a 30-minute walk along the estuary to the North Sands beach from Salcombe (has parking here too!) and another restaurant, The Winking Prawn is found here! Super beach and fabulous views across to Mill Bay. Overbecks National Trust gardens are also found here between North and South Sands and well worth a visit. Hope Cove is accessed by car and a 15-minute drive away takes you to family friendly Inner and Outer Hope beaches (pubs, cafe, and restaurants here too - The Hope and Anchor, Lobster Pods to name a few!). Kingsbridge is a super town too about 20 mins by car or bus with all the local amenities to hand.
