Located on the Northumberland national park, 9 miles from Alwinton and 19 miles from Otterburn. We offer this beautiful cottage with tranquil surroundings. Stay in a 3 bed farm cottage, pet (1 dog) and children friendly, with a travel cot available for the smaller guests. You will have self catering facilities which include a gas oven, gas kettle, microwave, toaster, washing machine and WiFi. Please note bedding is included but towels are not supplied. The cottage has central heating and hot water. An open fire during the colder month's is also available with logs, kindling and fire lighters supplied upon request. The property has an enclosed private garden with the river Coquet running along the front and Carlcroft burn feeding into it from the side. There is abundance of nature and wildlife to be spotted, from butterflies to wild goats. With footpaths leading to the pennine way from the farm itself. The property is situated on a sheep farm with a few cows added in the mix. We ask all travelling with dogs to keep them on the lead at all times when walking the hills.

For a remote location there are three restaurants near our cottage. There is The Rose and Thistle located in Alwinton village, Clennel Hall located just past Alwinton and The Star Inn located in Harbottle village – this also has a small convenient shop attached for supplies needed for your stay.
