There are plenty of things to do in the area and lots of events and workshops that are held at various places including The Tolbooth, The Engine Shed and at the castle. Some of the sites to visit while staying in the area include a trip to Stirling Castle, The National Wallace Monument, Church of the Holy Rude, Doune Castle (one of the locations of Outlander), Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum, The Stirling Mystery Treasure Trail and Dunblane Cathedral. There is also the oldest pub in Stirling called the Settle Inn and the Stirling Distillery all within a few minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment is located within a 5 minutes walk from the bus and train station, so if you wanted to arrange day trips to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth or Falkirk these are all serviced by the local transport links regularly throughout the day.
