Our near 300 year old cottage is situated in a secure acre of beautifully lawned and very quiet garden that offers beautiful accommodation together with a Caravan & Motorhome Club CL site. Bordered on two sides by the River Sheppey where our guests are encouraged to use our private access into the river for a paddle where amongst the many brown trout a range of other wildlife from Kingfishers to Otters maybe seen. Situated between the very famous and beautiful City of Wells and Glastonbury just 2 minutes walk to frequent bus services our location provides easy access to the City of Wells and Glastonbury and so many other places and attractions. Due to the age of the property with steps to all accommodations together with restricted headroom in the house we are unable to offer any of the properties to persons with limited mobility issues. Please be aware that the cost of each accommodation includes for two persons and one vehicle, other options especially the hot tub incur additional costs. Glastonbury has been a place of pilgrimage and spirituality for centuries and attracts visitors of all faiths and none. With its bubbling High Street crowded with independent shops & cafes and the picturesque Abbey ruins and, of course, the Tor, there is much to see and do whatever the weather. Longleat Safari Park is only 24 miles away. Close by, explore the beauty of the Mendip Hills & Somerset Levels, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Kilver Court Gardens and Glastonbury Abbey & Tor. Travel a little further afield to discover the Somerset Coast with the new pier at Weston-Super-Mare, Fleet Air Arm Museum at Ilchester and many National Trust & English Heritage properties.
