A short stroll into the town centre and conveniently positioned for walking and exploring Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Conveniently situated on the West End side of Brecon with a children's play park and large grass park around the corner. Brecon has everything you need for a family stay. Many independent shops and services in the town centre, as well as local pubs and restaurants. The cottage is a traditional extended two-down-two-up Welsh worker's cottage which has been fully renovated to suit the 21st Century traveller. We have sympathetically restored the property to maintain its original charm but providing all the modern-conveniences. These include - a fully fitted modern kitchen with hob, oven and extractor fan; fridge freezer, washer-drier and small appliances you would expect - kettle, toaster, air fryer and espresso maker. The downstairs flooring has been replaced with hard-wearing and easy to clean Karndeen vinyl, making it suitable for those with pets or returning home from the changing Welsh mountain weather. There's super-fast broadband, a Smart TV and a small collection of local guides as well as a selection of games. The bathroom has been completely redesigned offering a large walk-in shower, and the vanity mirror includes an integrated electric toothbrush charger and wireless phone charger. Both bedrooms are supplied with super-comfortable mattresses to ensure you get the best night's sleep, and have plenty of space to store and hang your clothes. All windows are triple glazed to minimise any noise but also keep in the warmth. Outside there is a small but perfectly formed terrace area, suitable for pre-dinner drinks or chilling out with a book. From mid-December we will be installing a brand new wood burning stove, which will add both character to the property and alternative heating source. Hot water is always available with the gas combi-boiler.

We are a couple who love travelling and love staying in holiday cottages. We have 1 lovely dog who loves coming on holiday with us. Both of us love the outdoors and exploring the wonderful scenery and countryside on offer in the UK as well as travelling further afield.

The cottage is just a few minutes walk from Brecon town centre, and in the middle of the world famous Bannau Brycheinog National Park. The local neighbourhood is a combination of residential properties and holiday accommodation with B&B's and small local hotels around the area.
