The cottage features a well appointed kitchen diner with a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and induction hob cooker. The addition of a second downstairs bathroom with walk-in shower compliments the existing upstairs bathroom. There are three bedrooms, two sitting rooms and a newly terraced garden with an outdoor seating area. Centrally heated with combi instant hot water, with a log burning stove in addition for cosy autumn and winter evenings. Large 45inch TV with fire stick and high speed fibre Wi Fi. The cottage is conveniently situated to the rear of The Runswick Bay Hotel and benefits from two dedicated car parking spaces. There is easy access to a fast EV charging station in the adjacent hotel car park. Well behaved pets welcome.

Situated in the upper part of the picturesque village of Runswick Bay, it is a five minute walk down the steep hill to the fabulous horseshoe shaped sandy beach declared as Britain's Best by the Sunday Times in 2020. Perfect for families and walkers, fossil hunters, paddlers and swimmers, there is an RNLI presence in the summer months and kayaks and paddleboards are also available for rent. The Cleveland Way coastal path runs past the property from the beach and it is a five minute walk from the cottage to the clifftop beyond, with stunning views across the bay. A short drive away, the North Yorkshire Moors National Park is equally spectacular and a must for hikers and nature lovers. Local amenities:- The adjacent Runswick Bay Hotel is noted for its welcoming atmosphere and serves a good selection of wines, beers and spirits with an extensive yummy bar and restaurant menu. In the lower village the Royal Pub and Sandside Cafe are also friendly and popular. There is a Co-Op store two miles away in Staithes with larger supermarkets eight miles away in Whitby, served by an hourly bus service . The nearest petrol station is one mile away in Hinderwell.
