Cornish born and bred, both Fi and I have a passion for the beautiful County of Cornwall and love nothing better than sharing our knowledge of go-to destinations and secret spots with our guests. ​Truck House has been our family home for over 30 years, and when our two daughters flew the nest, we couldn’t bring ourselves to part with it - so, we decided to share our lovely home with others. Over the past 5 years, we have had the pleasure of hosting guests from all corners of the world. So enjoyable has it been, we have now expanded the business with the addition of the Coach House Studio, Kara Cottage, Winslow Cottage . When time allows and when not hosting guests, we love nothing more than jumping in our campervan with our springer spaniel, Belle , in search of perfect waves and wildlife. Cornwall has so much to offer that we rarely stray from her shores but, on occasion, we do and in recent years have visited Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Costa Rica. We look for something special from the places we stay in and know our visitors will too. We want our guests to have a wonderful experience, to relax, unwind and feel at home. Set in a central, rural location the The Coach House provides an ideal base from which to explore Cornwall. Comprising an open plan kitchen/diner, lounge and newly refurbished shower room on the ground floor and a large bedroom on the first floor The Coach House provides all you need for that cosy retreat. Perfect for two, but with room upstairs for a cot and highchair on request. Small enclosed seating area at the front of the property and ample parking. We are pet friendly too !

A short distance by car to the City of Truro. Many independent shops , restaurants , pubs and wine bars . Why not book yourself into the wonderful Hall 4 Cornwall and see a fabulous show! Trelissick Gardens and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are nearby and the amazing Eden Project is a must see! We are happy to help you plan your visit be it walking , visiting top sites or just enjoying our gorgeous beaches , many of which are dog friendly. We are happy to accept your furry friends with each booking at an extra charge per dog to cover the extra cleaning cost. Please note the dogs are not allowed on the furniture or upstairs and please make sure that they are thoroughly cleaned and towelled off before allowing them in the house.
