Nestled by a riverbank on the edge of the Peak District. A beautiful character cottage with beamed ceilings, stone floors and handmade wooden doors throughout. All mod cons including washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine; log burning stoves; aga and cosy rooms to relax. Perfect place to enjoying walking in the peak district and coming back to luxury and comfort - ideal for groups or families to enjoy a stress free time surrounded by nature.

We have lived at the cottage for 7 years and loved it so much we couldn't bear to sell it! We decided to let others enjoy it by starting up as a holiday cottage over a year ago. We pride ourselves on offering great quality accomodation. I am thoroughly enjoying being a 'host' and love meeting people from all over the world. We have travelled alot ourselves visiting over 40 countries (at last count) and appreciate what makes an exceptional place to stay.

We are right on the edge of the Peak District which means there are so many possibilities! Walking, hiking, pub stops, cycle paths and lots of beautiful towns to visit such as Buxton, Bakewell, Ashbourne and Leek. An added bonus is that we are a 'stones throw' from Alton Towers (7 miles away). If you want to get away from it all but still have access to some of the countries most beautiful countryside - this is the place for you!
