Cara's Cottage lies just a couple of minutes' walk from the centre of Blairgowrie, where there is a selection of shops, restaurants, takeaways, pubs, and bars. With two large bedrooms, it comfortably sleeps four people. There is a small gravelled garden to the front and a private off-road parking space. With a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, plus a comfortable sitting room with smart TV, there is all you require to have a fantastic stay. The property has gas central heating and wifi is free. Dogs are welcome.

Cara's Cottage is one of three properties managed and owned by Blairgowrie Self Catering. Jim manages the properties while Aoife helps when she is not working as a theatre nurse in a nearby hospital. We used to run a six bedroom bed and breakfast, so we have plenty of experience trying to make the guest experience as pleasant as possible.

Blairgowrie is the ideal location to explore the whole of Scotland since you can visit everywhere on day trips. Edinburgh is 1.5 hours away, Glasgow the same. St Andrews is an hour away by car. You can easily reach Aberdeen, and Inverness as well. The town has an interesting mix of independent shops, restaurants, and eateries. Golf is a major attraction with a host of nearby courses. There is premium salmon fishing in the Tay and plenty of challenging trout fishing close by. For the historians, Scone Palace and Balmoral are easily accessible as well.
