Copley cottage has been sympathetically renovated to highlight the gorgeous features it has to offer. Providing the perfect setting to relax with the whole family. A 2 bedroom cottage situated in the historical village of Copley, County Durham, bordering on the Pennines. Our cottage is located above a water well which stems from the river Gaunless, the most northerly Viking named river. Our landscape shows historical traces of mining dating back to medieval times and can be seen just outside. Copley cottage is over 140 years old and has been loving restored to offer you a relaxing stay away from home
We are Chris and Nicky, a couple born and raised in the North East. We love everything about it and have explored nearly every corner. We purchased this cottage to give ourselves a more rural base for our adventures and decided it was too good not to share. if you have any questions about this beautiful part of the world feel free to ask
Copley is a gorgeous Hamlet located on the out skirts of the Pennines, just a short drive from BArnard Castle, High Force, Low Force, Raby castle and many other attractions.
