Looking for a place to relax and escape the stresses of life? Nestled in the heart of Snowdonia (Eryri) the cottage is a haven from the bustle of life so that you can relax and enjoy the National Park at its best. Magnificent mountain views and easy access to public transport, the major Snowdonia mountain ranges, major footpaths, and cycle trails (including direct access to the Marin Trail). A cold water lake for wild swimming against the backdrop of Snowdon is approx a 20 mins walk away. Step out of the gate and you are in the hills, you can walk onto the major mountain ranges directly from the cottage. Enjoy panoramic views and sunsets over Snowdon from the gate and spectacular star-gazing in this Dark Skies Reserve. It is the perfect base for climbing Snowdon, accessible via bus or just a 30 minute drive. The Cottage has its own private entrance and garden, straight off the Snowdonia hills. There is a spacious but cosy lounge and dining area with a wood burning stove and TV, and a well equipped kitchen for making simple meals. The bathroom is fresh and modern with bath and electric shower. But if you prefer not to cook there is a cafe and a pub within walking distance serving great food, hot drinks and snacks. Plas y Brenin (National Outdoor Centre), again within walking distance, also serves bar meals. As well as the wood burning stove, the cottage has central heating. ​We can arrange on-site Sports Massages after a hard day out or introductory Yoga Sessions (pre-bookable at an additional charge subject to availability). The cottage is all yours to relax in and enjoy. Access is allowed for one car up a single-lane gravel track (not for nervous drivers or low-suspension cars). Parking is approx 800 metres from the cottage. The Sherpa bus serving local villages and towns and main hiking start-points for Snowdonia stops at the bottom of the track, so if you fancy you can leave your car parked up for your entire stay.

Plas y Brenin (National Outdoor Centre), again within walking distance, also serves bar meals. Looking for adventure? Snowdon is within easy access, or explore ZipWorld's zipline, go-karting or tree top adventures. Try watersports in Llanberis or surfing on the beaches of the Llyn Peninsula. Have a day out on the Welsh Highland steam train or visit the National Slate Museum. Visit the castles or Bodnant Gardens.
