Sleeping six, Cottage View is a spacious semi-detached property located in Hope Cove only a short walk from the village and two sandy beaches. Sleeping six, there are three comfortable bedrooms, an open plan kitchen/dining room, a traditional sitting room and two agreeable bathrooms. With plenty of outdoor space for children and ample parking, Cottage View is an ideal property for small families and couples who enjoy walking, frequent trips to the beach and exploring the beautiful South Devon scenery in the summer sunshine. Second bedroom has twin beds which can be made into a super-King. Must be requested at time of booking. Charging of electric cars is strictly not permitted Up to two well behaved dogs permitted - they must stay on ground floor only. This is a 25 charge per dog per week.Strictly No Smoking

The picturesque fishing village of Hope Cove lies in a sheltered bay on South Devon’s coastline, offering superb views over Bigbury Bay and Burgh Island. A choice destination for families, two beaches offer soft sand for sandcastle building, plus rock pools great for entertaining children. The town remains a fishing village where crabs and lobsters are still landed, however it was once used by smugglers. Many ships have perished around the coast and the wrecks that lie beneath the waves make it a popular spot for divers. Above the beach there are a number of pubs and restaurants, including the popular café bar ‘The Cove’. The coastal footpath can be joined from here and leads towards the sandy beaches of Thurlestone and Bigbury-on-Sea in one direction, and the sailing town of Salcombe in the other.
