Crannog House is a spacious detached 4/5 bedroom house set in an acre of private and secluded gardens. There is a stream which gently flows through the land. The property is accessed by a large private drive with parking for more than 5 cars. Facilities include hot tub and children’s play area. The perfect place to enjoy with family but also spacious enough to bring another family along too! The house is located in a quiet rural area and we would ask that all guests respect this. PLEASE NOTE you must request the 5th bedroom to be set up if required on booking and this will attract an additional charge. We shall assume you do not require it if this is not requested.

I am a mum of 3 and live in Bristol and love the outdoors and Cornwall. I am always available to answer any questions guests may have but we give guests their full privacy during their stay and will only attend if required.

The house is located on the edge of the beautiful village of Forder down a narrow country lane. Despite being so close to Saltash and Plymouth guests will feel like they have fully entered the stunning Cornish countryside but have the advantage of all the amenities of modern living. Fast WiFi being one of them another being within 10 minutes of a large Waitrose. Guests are able to walk to the water which is known as Forder Lake which leads into Anthony Passage and then onto the Plymouth sound. Guests can enjoy the convenience of being able to launch canoes and sups (paddle boarding) or other craft from the inlet at Forder being a 2 min walk from the property. There is a no party rule and no stag or hens and we would ask all guests to respect the local community and neighbours and keep noise to a minimum. There are many stunning country walks you can do directly from the property and also lovely cycle routes if you are a keen to explore. Otherwise the ample free parking at the property makes the car the easiest choice for further a field trips.
