The perfect place to kick back and relax. Situated in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National park and only a short drive from the picturesque Lake District, Cross Haw Cottage offers a peaceful retreat from everyday stresses. With beautiful walks from the doorstep and some of the best cycling routes the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. Overlooked by the mighty Howgill Fells, the scenery and views are stunning. Spot our daily squirrel visitors from the comfort of the settee!
The fully fitted kitchen has all the mod cons you would expect (sorry no dishwasher). There is a large dining room table with seating for 4. This leads to the spacious living room with log burner, 3 seater sofa bed and armchair. The first floor is where you will find the bedroom with its kingsize bed and the bathroom with modern shower.

Although the cottage is connected to the our house we hope you will appreciate the peace and quiet of the area. On a clear night the skies are amazing, sit and watch the stars with 0% light pollution!
We are just 2 miles from the small market town of Sedbergh and only a half hour drive to the Lake District National Park. But you will not be disappointed with the walks in this area and stay away from the crowds. The infamous Cautley Spout is just 2 miles up the road, this is England's highest (cascade) waterfall above ground. Well worth a look and there are some stunning circular walks up to the Calf on the Howgill Fells, taking in the beauty of the Spout and the surrounding area.
