Nestled in the the Tamar Valley, popular with walkers, cyclists and those with a love of the great outdoors can find a warm, clean, bright space all to yourself to use as a base for your explorations or rural peace getaway. The cottage has its own private main entrance, kitchen, lounge/dining room and en-suite double bedroom. Suitable for couples or single travellers or one or two children can be accommodated at no extra charge with use of airbeds or space for a cot in the bedroom.
We wish to leave you in peace to enjoy your stay but any questions or problems, just text or ring and we’ll give all the help we can.
Nestled in the Tamar Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty, we are located in the village of Dimson within the larger village of Gunnislake. There are walks aplenty on the doorstep, the moors in both directions and most of Devon and Cornwall can be reached by car within an hour including many beaches on both coasts. There is a good local shop and petrol station. Supermarkets are a 10 minute drive and pubs are a 10 minute walk. Having transport is essential as there are so many places to visit but there are more walks than you can shake a stick at right on our doorstep. Buses run through the village to the town of Callington and Tavistock and further afield and a good train link to Plymouth. Some Taxis are also available if needed.
