A unique new lodging, a beautiful suite of rooms in London, for private hire. Exclusive use of the whole top floor of our house in London SE19 - Zone 3 – with easy access to central London.  Quiet location with great views from the terrace room lounge + the spacious private roof terrace.   The accomodation provides WiFi, continental breakfast, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee.   Great value.  Open all year.   Five minutes walk to a buzzing area with restaurants, cafes, pubs, a luxurious cinema, and a historic park.   Super place for a city-break holiday in a cool part of London; for business visitors; for trips to Kent & Surrey country pubs, historic castles and beautiful gardens; for couples, families, and friends.
Thank you for choosing to stay with us. About us : We love travelling and staying in independent lodgings, rather than big hotels, as we find it more interesting and rewarding. We like to experience life in a city's neighbourhoods, and imagine what life would be like as a resident there. We also like to visit regular tourist sites. Our motto in life is : Try to enjoy each day to the full ! Our family and friends matter the most to us, and we love good food. We are interested in different cultures, people, dress, music, and the scenery of the relevant country. Travel broadens the mind for sure ! We have been lucky to have had the opportunity to travel to many amazing places like Borneo, idyllic islands in the Pacific, game reserves in Africa, and trekking in the Himalayas. We also experienced working abroad. Having stayed in so many lovely lodgings, it's our turn to be B&B hosts !
The Neighbourhood : Crystal Palace at 380 feet is one of the highest and most charming London suburbs, only 7 miles from central London, with a village atmosphere and excellent transport links, with great views of London & the Kent and Surrey countryside. Take a stroll around nearby Crystal Palace 200 acre park - with a maze, animal farm, the Victorian full-size dinosaur sculptures created in 1854 for the Great Exhibition + the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre with Olympic size swimming pool, squash & tennis courts, and other amenities. Enjoy the Crystal Palace triangle (consisting of 3 main streets), with its Saturday outdoor food market and the adjacent Haynes Lane indoor collectibles market. (There is also easy access from Crystal Palace to other interesting London markets - e.g. Bermondsey Market, Borough Market, Brixton Market, Columbia Road Flower Market, and Spitalfields Market.) The Crystal Palace triangle has a huge selection of independent restaurants, pubs with good food, cafes, a luxurious cinema, vintage & independent shops, and a supermarket (with a good range of cooked foods and heat-up meals) - all just five minutes walk from the house.
