Located in the heart of Pickering, this 3 bedroom property is spread over the front 1st and 2nd floors. A 5 minute walk takes you to the centre of this historic market town with excellent cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) is only a 10 minute walk away. This is a fantastic base to explore the Dalby Forest, Flamingo Land, Malton, Eden Camp, Castle Howard, Helmsley, Scarborough, Whitby, York- all within 45 minutes drive.
This Victorian property dating from 1847 is called Eastgate Lodge and is on one of the oldest streets in the town. Full of charm, period features, high ceilings and large sash windows.
On the first floor:
A spacious light filled living room with adjoining kitchen/dining room. There is also a WC on this level.
On the second floor:
3 good sized bedrooms (2 king bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom), plus one family bathroom.
We usually greet our guests on arrival and hand over the key, but if you’d prefer self check-in do let us know as we have a lockbox.
For parking there is free parking along Eastgate and if required paid parking (Eastgate car park) 2 minutes walk away. It is rare for guests to need to use the latter.
