Eastside view apartment is a top floor apartment with amazing views of Whitby Abbey, 199 steps, St Marys Church, East Pier and the sea. The apartment is up stairs so is not ideal if not good with walking or needing to use prams. There is a good sized bathroom, featuring a shower unit. A spiral staircase leads to the master bedroom, which has stunning views. the smaller bedroom has bunkbeds which are capable of taking adult weight. The living room has a corner sofa and flat screen tv and the kitchenette has ample cupboard space, utensils and cooking facilities. There isn't a dining table and chairs, but the apartment is located within short distances to some of the best restaurants Whitby has to offer, easy reach of several take aways too. There is also a gin bar located 30 yards up the road and pubs and bars all within easy reach, so no need for taxis. Silverstreet is a narrow side road with a car park at the far end.

Whitby is brilliant for taking in the views, the fresh air and just letting yourselves recharge. You can hire surfboardss and sups at Whitby surf school found at Whitby beach. Hire bikes at stainsacre and go on the cinder track to bay or ravenscar to see the sea colony. Saltwick beach is great for exploring and seeing ship wrecks and finding fossils at low tide. You could head 5 minutes out of town and discover the moors and see the steam trains. Whitby has a bit of everything to offer.

The location of the apartment is ideal or exploring Whitby by foot. There is the local museum and park 70 yards away. You could take a walk up the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey, then saunter along Henrietta Street to take in the aroma of Fortunes Kipper house and go along the east pier a great spot to enjoy a Whitby sunset. The beach is a short walk away and is great for fun in the sea or a walk along to sandsend. Another place to enjoy a sunset is the West cliff where you can grab a coffee at Claras and watch the day end. The restaurants close by are great, but probably best to book as always fill quickly. Rusty shears is great for sitting in the courtyard and enjoying a gin or a perfect latte and some amazing cake. Or head round to the next street to Cranberry Swamp where the Mexican eggs are the best! also close by is Whitby deli, Java, so endless options for food and drink.
