The Ellingham Cottages is a family-run business with husband-and-wife team, Simon and Fiona, doing everything possible to make your stay an enjoyable one. With children of their own, they are attuned to the needs of all guests - young and young at heart!

The Ellingham Apartments at Bordeaux in the parish of Vale, Guernsey is a small complex of 7 self-catering apartments. All the 7 apartments are recently refurbished and have two bedrooms - sleeping either 3 or 4 people. The Ellingham Apartments have a commercial wi-fi system available to all our guests free of charge. We have plenty of on-site parking available and there is a small raised garden. The shared laundry room has washing machines and tumble dryers, plus there are rotary washing lines on the lawn. There is no additional charge for any of the facilities.

The Ellingham Apartments at Bordeaux are on the north-east coast of Guernsey. They are only 30 seconds walk to the beach of Bordeaux harbour. Here, the brightly coloured fishing boats bobbing on the water make for a picturesque place to picnic and paddle. It is also a perfect place for a swim at high tide – or to pick up the flat coastal paths for a stroll around the north Guernsey coastline (you may want to pick up some refreshments from 'Woodies' kiosk before your stroll). The family-favourite beaches of Pembroke and L’Ancresse, with their long stretches of soft white sand, are 1.5 miles away. It is easy to spend days here, with plenty of space for games, shallow wading into the sea, kiosks, plus a couple of restaurants nearby (the Beach House, Roc Salt). The Ellingham Apartments are in a more rural location than the Ellingham Cottages in St Martins, but still only a mile from the nearest supermarkets and other shops at the 'Bridge'. A car is not necessary, as a bus service runs past the apartments. Cycling is also a great way to get around the island - and we can recommend a great bike rental company who also offer electric bikes if you prefer.
