Welcome to Elton Guest House in Grange over Sands, an attractive limestone building dating from around 1840. Situated in one of the prettiest areas of the town, our newly refurbished guest house is set a short level walk from shops, the promenade, ornamental gardens and the railway station. , We are cycle friendly with secure storage for your bikes. We are ideally situated if you are attending a wedding at the Grange Hotel, Netherwood Hotel or Cumbria Grand. We are a private family run guest house with six bedrooms, all of which are en-suite, two of which are on the ground floor and have recently been refurbished to a high standard. All of the rooms are well appointed with central heating, digital TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and free WI-FI. Thanks to the balmy influence of the Gulf Stream, Grange over Sands enjoys one of the mildest climates in the North. Once a small fishing village, it became a fashionable seaside resort after the railway arrived in the 1850's. Today Grange retains much elegance from its Edwardian heyday, with ornamental gardens, attractive shopping arcades and a promenade for relaxing walks.
