The History of Quay
Set up in 2006 by husband and wife team, Helen and Duncan, with just five properties, Quay’s portfolio now comprises over 120 properties. Today, Quay Holidays remains a family-run business, employing a knowledgeable team, all living in the local area. For us, local knowledge is Quay. Our dedicated team knows Poole and its surrounding areas inside out and is passionate about helping you find the perfect property for your holiday. From our base in Poole Old Town, we provide a comprehensive full-management service. Our meticulous cleaning crew and knowledgeable maintenance team take the stress out of holiday letting for homeowners and ensure our guests enjoy a consistently high-quality service. All our properties offer a home-from-home experience, evidenced by the many satisfied guests who return year after year. We offer everything from cosy one-bedroom apartments to spacious five-bedroom houses – just let us know what you need!
Your Quay to relaxation
Our offices are open 7 days a week for guest arrivals, so we are always on hand to answer queries. Our interactive website allows guests to explore our vast range of properties, located in and around the Poole and Bournemouth area, and book their stay 24 hours a day. For guests who would rather speak to us in person, our phone lines are open until 6pm Monday to Saturday, and 4pm on Sunday, with an out-of-hours service available during the evening for emergencies. Our directly employed Service Team ensures standards remain consistently high and any issues are dealt with promptly. All properties are provisioned with crisp linen and fluffy towels, including beach towels and a complimentary welcome pack of tea, coffee and hot chocolate together with local biscuits and nuts is provided. In the fridge, you will also find a nicely chilled bottle of white wine awaiting your arrival.

A fabulous 3rd floor apartment located on Poole Quay with balcony and views. Poole Quay activities, Poole Museum, Brownsea Island, Local Ferries, Poole Park, Poole High Street and shopping centre, numerous wonderful restaurants and bars - are just some of the attractions available in the immediate vicinity.
Communal entrance with lift or stairway to the 3rd floor. Spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Doors leading to balcony with quayside and harbour views - and some stunning Sunseeker yachts! Stylish fully fitted kitchen including breakfast bar, electric induction hob, electric oven, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washer / dryer. Master bedroom with 5ft kingsize double bed leading to ensuite bathroom (walk-in rain shower, sink, toilet, heated towel rail and electric shaver point). 2nd bedroom with 2x 3ft single beds or zip and link 6ft superkingsize double. Family bathroom (bath with shower over, sink, toilet, heated towel rail and electric shaver point).
Need more space? Two other apartments are available in Harbour Lofts providing an ideal base for larger family gatherings.
Parking - Parking permit provided for one vehicle in the Quay Visitors multi-storey car park (2 mins walk). (max height 1.90m / 6ft 2ins).
Services - Duvets and linen provided including bath and beach towels. Underfloor heating. Hairdryers.
Technology - WIFI. Smart 49 inch Sony TV with soundbar and freeview. BlueRay player. Bose Bluetooth radio / speaker.

Same day bookings can be accepted if received before to 6pm (4pm on Sundays) when our office closes. Arrivals out of office hours can be organised if requests are received before 6pm (4pm on Sundays).

POOLE QUAY - Poole Quay is an exciting, ever-changing blend of maritime activity and a focal point for a wide range of entertainment and leisure pursuits. Pleasure craft offer trips direct from the Quay to Brownsea Island , Sandbanks and beyond, whilst anglers can book fishing trips at the Fisherman`s Quay . If you simply want to promenade along the waterfront past the visitors` marina and have a meal and a drink, then the Quayside and Old Town areas are packed with excellent restaurants, pubs and winebars offering huge variety and choice. From the Quay, shoppers can stroll up the pedestrianized High Street, with its wide range of retail outlets and facilities. Safe Blue Flag sandy beaches at Sandbanks, Branksome and Alum Chines are just 15 minutes away by car and the natural beauty of The New Forest is approximately 30 minutes distance away. A short trip on the Sandbanks chain ferry offers the option of even more beautiful beaches skirted by sand dunes and walks in the National Trust protected Purbeck Hills.
