The beautiful beams have been brought back to life upstairs along with the original stonework. The bedroom has a luxurious wooden kingsize bed.
Downstairs the original fireplace has been opened up where there is a wood burning stove you can use. You will need to provide your own logs and ovoids if wish to use the fire.
There is a fully functioning kitchen including a washing machine.
A separate bathroom provides a full size bath with an overhead shower.
This is a perfect base for exploring the local area or for a relaxing time away.

Farthing Cottage is a quaint old farm workers cottage that has been brought back to life with a full renovation.
Satley is quiet village based in the beautiful Derwent Valley. It is close to Hall Hill Farm for Children - Visit the farm to feed, see and stroke the animals, a great day out for children. It is also close to Beamish Museum which is an open-air museum located at Beamish, near the town of Stanley, in County Durham, England. The museum's guiding principle is to preserve an example of everyday life in urban and rural North East England at the climax of industrialisation in the early 20th century.
