The closest town is quirky Totnes, located on the banks of the River Dart, with its many independent shops and restaurants, including The Bull Inn which serves an ever-changing seasonal menu. There is also a bustling weekly market on Fridays and Saturdays or why not head to Totnes Castle and enjoy unbeatable views over the town toward the River Dart. Dartington Estate sits just outside Totnes, with its mediaeval Great Hall, beautiful gardens, and family activities. The ever-popular Dartmoor National Park is a short 20-minute drive for those wanting to explore the vast moorland, valleys, quaint villages, and spend their days walking or cycling.
