Nestled in the tiny hamlet of Thurlby Moor, Field's Edge is separate accommodation from the main Field House and overlooks 2 and a half acres of paddocks. We have no livestock but a pair of Patterdale terriers, Oli & Goose who are always keen to say hello to new visitors! We offer peace and quiet with private parking, free Wi-Fi, flatscreen TV and controllable underfloor heating. Tea making facilities are available as well as a Nespresso coffee machine. Whilst we do not offer breakfast, there is a small fridge in the room and a toaster if you wish to bring your own snacks.

Paul & Susie Thompson are delighted to welcome you to their little piece of Lincolnshire heaven! We understand that some guests prefer to be left to their own devices and some require more help & advice with local amenities and tourist information, we would like to assure you that we are there for you if required. Susie has spent 27 years flying around the world in the role of cabin crew and has now decided to carry on that high level of service and care closer to home! Come and breathe some of the fresh, clean air at Field's Edge and we promise, you will want to return!

We offer a quiet escape from the rush of day to day life yet only 7 miles from Newark Showground and 11 miles from the centre of the beautiful Roman city of Lincoln with its Castle, Cathedral, Museums, University and wealth of diverse restaurants and shopping for all. If you prefer to keep it local, we have a number of recommended restaurants and pubs within a 1-4 mile radius. These include The Green Man at Norton Disney, The Five Bells at Bassingham and The White Hart in Carlton-le-Moorland. The nearby village of Witham St Hughes is less than a mile away and boasts a Co-op, Milano's Pizza & Kebab House, The Taj Indian takeaway and the Market Lounge Cafe Bar. Both Paul & Susie are Lincoln born and bred so have plenty of information to offer you about the local area.
