The fully equipped kitchen includes a fan oven, induction hob, dishwasher, and washer-dryer. The spacious bathroom features a luxurious walk-in shower—perfect after a day of adventure. Upstairs, you'll find a tranquil bedroom with a double bed, chest of drawers, and clothes rail. Electric radiators keep the lodge warm in any season. For cycling enthusiasts, we offer secure covered bike storage for up to four bikes and a wash-off area. (Please bring your own bike locks and chains.) Security cameras cover the garden and can be accessed on request. Enjoy Wi-Fi, a smart TV (log in to your own streaming accounts), retro board games, playing cards, and books about the Forest of Dean. We welcome well-behaved dogs (max. two, charge applies). Please bring bedding, and note that dogs must not be left unattended, nor are they allowed on furniture or upstairs. Parking is available for one car; additional parking is on the street. Forest Cedar Lodge sits within our garden, where I live with my husband, our three children, and our dog. We’ve called the Forest of Dean home all our lives and absolutely love it here. There are plenty of beautiful forest walks right on the doorstep—within fifteen minutes, you can be strolling through the woodlands surrounding Cinderford. For a cosy evening out, the Palace Cinema, just down the road, offers two screens with all seats under 5 pounds and great-value snacks. For those looking to stay active, there’s a sports centre nearby with a swimming pool and a fully equipped gym. The lodge is perfectly located for exploring the Forest of Dean’s top attractions, including Go Ape, Puzzlewood, The Sculpture Trail, Beechenhurst, and the stunning lakes at Cannop and Mallards Pike. Cycling enthusiasts will love the Cannop Cycle Centre, and Clearwell Caves is a magical place to visit—especially at Christmas, when it transforms into an enchanting festive experience for all ages.
