Gateway Resort has been running for over 20 years, and has transformed from it's original beginnings as a Dairy Farm to the large, popular holiday resort of today! We offer pitches for tents, trailer tents, camper vans, motorhomes and caravans, along with Glamping Pods. We are one of very few campsites in Wales that are open all year round, 365 days a year! We have a 4.5/5 Star rating on TripAdvisor, along with a 5 Star Food Hygiene Award, and the much coveted Food Hygiene Elite Award. Offering a little more luxury and a little more comfort than basic camping, enjoy a relaxing break in one of our cosy Glamping Pods! Think of them as insulated, hassle-free versions of a tent! They are warm and dry, and each Pod has its own decking area with picnic bench, parasol and BBQ. Each Pod sleeps up to 4 people (sorry no pets) and inside you will find: 1 double bed & 2 single beds (all bed linen provided) Double electric sockets with USB charging points & light switches Electric heater/Cooling tower fan Double-glazed lockable doors Our Pods do not have any facilities such as toilets or running water, so they are conveniently located right next to our toilet & shower block, which is free to use & open 24/7. They have beautiful views over the Loughor Estuary looking across to the North Gower Peninsula. Gateway Resort is a large, friendly, holiday resort also offering touring & camping pitches. With outstanding free entertainment, including kids club, cash bingo and the best in local live bands, tribute acts and singers. We have two Bars & Restaurants, plus an outdoor 'Tiki Bar', with a large Sun Terrace overlooking our pretty fishing lake. We have plenty on site to entertain the whole family: indoor heated swimming pool, soft play area, arcade, mini funfair & rollercoaster, crazy golf, play park, fishing lake, pony rides, free land train, plus regular themed parties and events! Or take a trip up to Pembrey Country Park (at the other end of the Millennium Coastal Path) and indulge in some dry-slope skiing, horse-riding, tobogganing or mountain biking through scenic pine forests! Bird enthusiasts will love the National Wetlands Centre, just around the corner from us and Llanelli’s revamped North Dock area has a lovely beach, brand new café and excellent ice-cream kiosk (with special doggy ice-creams to treat your four-legged companions!) If you crave a little retail therapy, Trostre & Pemberton Retail Parks are just minutes up the road and the city of Swansea, with its sweeping bay & marina, is less than 30 minutes’ drive away.
