Higher Faugan Parc werd in 1904 gebouwd als woonhuis voor de kunstenaars Stanhope en Elizabeth Forbes. Het ligt op een privéterrein met een groot gazon dat gasten mogen gebruiken. Het ligt dichtbij prachtige lokale stranden. Higher Faugan Parc biedt een privévakantie-ervaring zonder openbare of gemeenschappelijke ruimtes. Elke suite beschikt over een minikeuken, een bank, een lcd-tv en een kingsize bed. De eigen badkamers zijn uitgerust met een bad en een douche. Er zijn ook standaard- en superiorkamers met eigen badkamer beschikbaar. Deze worden dagelijks schoongemaakt. De keukens zijn uitgerust met een koelkast, magnetron, broodrooster en koffie- en theefaciliteiten. Er wordt een self-serviceontbijt op uw kamer geserveerd. U kunt genieten van een gratis continentaal ontbijt, zodat u op uw gemak kunt ontbijten. Er is geen restaurant of gemeenschappelijke ruimte. Het rustige en afgelegen Higher Faugan Parc biedt alleen accommodatie en is bereikbaar via een 500 meter lange oprijlaan. Er is gratis parkeergelegenheid en een eigen helikopterplatform. Als u met de auto reist, zijn Lands End, Geevor Tin Mine, het Eden Project en St Michael's Mount leuke bezienswaardigheden. Vanwege de locatie is een auto aan te raden, maar niet noodzakelijk. Er is parkeergelegenheid op het terrein en gasten kunnen 3 nachten gratis parkeren als ze kiezen voor de optie lang parkeren. De stranden van Lamorna en Porthcurno liggen vlakbij, evenals Mounts Bay voor wind- en watersporten. Forbes was lid van de invloedrijke schildersgroep Newlyn School. Tegenwoordig kunnen kunstenaars terecht in de Newlyn Gallery, Penlee Gallery and Museum en de Tate Gallery St Ives.

Situated in a very secluded and quiet location high above the fishing port of Newlyn, close to Penzance and famous Mousehole, a car is more or less essential to appreciate the surrounding area countryside and beaches, if coming by train car rental is available at the station. However many of our fitter guests appreciate our position and prefer to walk the coast road. Although not essential, a car is recommended. Alternativley come by helicopter as we have our own Helipad.
