Wi-Fi signal is weaker in the cottage. Hogwood Cottage is a brilliant base to explore this historic market town right from your very doorstep. Potter around the array of local independent shops, grab a coffee at one of the marketplace cafés and be amazed by the ruins of the medieval Knaresborough Castle. Take a stroll along the riverside promenade or hire a boat and enjoy the stunning scenery and local wildlife from the water. Bebra Gardens is a wonderful spot to sit out, not to mention the castle grounds and the fabulous views of the viaduct which are featured in the film ‘A Very Yorkshire Christmas’.
