A recently refurbished spacious second floor apartment retaining many original period features, in the heart of the historic market town of Kelso in the Scottish Borders. The apartment is just off the cobbled square and close the River Tweed. Offering comfortable spacious accommodation with its own private entrance and staircase and equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay, including a wood burning stove, with some complimentary logs. The apartment is fully central heated and luxury bedding and toiletries are provided. Check in is from 4pm and check out 10am. Please note that the apartment is on the 2nd floor so not best for those with mobility difficulties.

Welcome to our holiday apartment in the beautiful Scottish border town of Kelso. We are not a business and this is our only holiday property. We have spent our weekends over 2023 restoring the apartment and making it a home we would enjoy staying in ourselves. Historic Kelso sits on the banks of the River Tweed, famous for its fishing. It is a friendly traditional Scottish border town with a large cobbled continental style market square, that offers a range of bars, restaurants, cafes local shops and regular farmers market. The apartment is within walking distance of Floors Castle and Gardens, Kelso Racecourse, Kelso Abbey, golf course and Border Events Centre, as well as other activities. Kelso is an ideal location for exploring the beautiful border countryside, castles and Abbeys, such as Melrose and Jedburgh Abbeys, being on the Abbey Way. Kelso is also close to the hills of the Northumberland National park. The historic coastal castles, villages and Islands are within approximately 30 miles. This includes, Berwick, Bamburgh Castle, Lindisfarne (Holy Island) and St Abbs.
