Welcome to Hygga situated along a quiet lane on the outskirts of the historic maritime town of Fowey. This purpose built detached holiday home is situated adjacent to our own house but with sole use of a patio and garden and its own private entrance. There is off road parking for one car - often a rarity in Fowey - and a well appointed kitchen with retro style fridge freezer, hob, oven and dishwasher.
The bedroom and sitting room overlook the garden and the super kingsize bed can be split into two singles if required.
Having moved from Wales 3 years ago where we also had a holiday let we are pleased to now be doing the same in Cornwall. We have had a busy 3 years getting things ready and now plan to do some exploring ourselves, on foot and by boat and hope to add some insightful recommendations for our guests
Hygga is located just 10 minutes walk from the coastal path with the Saints Way on our doorstep. We have 4 beaches within a short walk - including our favourite secret cove - or you can wander into Fowey through a woodland walk and get the town bus back up the hill to the “pretty bus stop".
The pretty town of Fowey has some great places to eat, a brilliant range of independent shops and a vibrant harbour where you can hire a boat, paddle board or canoe and explore the estuary, join a boat trip or sea safari or catch the ferry to Mevagissey (weather permitting). The town ferry will take you across to Polruan and the many walks on that side of the river.
Par railway station with mainline links to London Paddington is 3 miles away and for golfers, Carlyon Bay and Lanhydrock Golf courses are within a 20 minute drive.
