I visited Ramsbury for a week, 29 years ago...and moved there 3 weeks later...its a special place!! The cottage is located in the heart of the picturesque village of Ramsbury. The village benefits from various shops, and two pubs within walking distance. The River Kennet runs through the village, which is an area of outstanding beauty. Ramsbury is also a pre-medieval village steeped in history and tradition. There are several books that has been written about the village, its inhabitants, and its part during the Second World War. The spectacular site of the Littlecote Roman Villa is even in its parish. The cottage is bright and spacious, and has recently been extensively renovated throughout. It is located on a quiet lane with its own large front and rear garden. The village is roughly 5 miles from Marlborough and Hungerford, with easy access to M4 motorway and rail services to London. Parking is roadside at the top or bottom of the of the street.
