Ivy Cottage is a stone terrace in the heart of the village of Hartington in the Peak District National Park. It has three en-suite bedrooms which include two king size and one twin, it can sleep six people. The accommodation also includes a kitchen, dining room and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside there is road parking, a front and rear garden and patio furniture. Ivy Cottage is a pleasant, homely retreat in a superb location. Please note that, although the garden belongs to Ivy Cottage, the neighbours do have access through the gate just for the bins which are kept in the garden.

Hartington, situated in the Dove Valley in the Peak District National Park, was an important market centre in the Middle Ages, having been granted a market charter in 1203. Today the village boasts lovely tea rooms, a cheese shop, old curiosity shops, traditional pubs and a splendid market square. The local bars stock local ales brewed at the Leatherbritches Brewery in Fenny Bentley and Whim Ales in Hartington itself.
