Jacaranda is an architect-designed home. Full of rustic character, with many interesting features such as inglenook fireplace, reclaimed brick feature walls and beamed ceilings, the property has a luxurious feel. It is situated down a quiet gravel road, in a hamlet on the outskirts of the village of Marchwood and there is no through traffic. It is ideally situated for exploring both the New Forest and its villages, and the South Coast, as well as Southampton, Bournemouth and historic Portsmouth. Great for families, local attractions include Paultons Park with Peppa Pig World, The New Forest Wildlife Park and Longdown Dairy Farm. The farmhouse-style kitchen leads on to an expansive hallway with turning staircase leading up to a galleried landing, off which is an exceptionally large bathroom containing a jacuzzi bath and a master bedroom with king-sized bed. There is deep pile carpeting throughout with solid oak internal doors. The inglenook fireplace in the lounge makes the room very cosy in winter. There is a compact rear garden which is sunny and private, and has a decked area with table and chairs, and a barbecue is provided during the summer months.

We are a husband and wife team who live locally, we know the New Forest very well having lived here all our married life and so can always offer advice on places to go and things to do in the area. If we are unable to greet our guests upon arrival, we always make contact after check-in via text or email, and we make ourselves available most of the time if needed.

Jacaranda is a stone's throw from the New Forest National Park, and the famous National Motor Museum at Beaulieu is a 15 minute drive away. Lepe Country Park and Beach, with its historic D.Day landing remains is just a 20 minute drive. Lyndhurst, capital of the New Forest, Lymington and Brockenhurst are all within easy reach and are quaint New Forest villages with many individual shops and restaurants. The village of Hythe is 10 minutes away by car and has an array of local shops and a market every Tuesday. The Hythe Ferry provides a link between Hythe and Southampton City, it is accessible by traversing Hythe Pier and boasts the oldest continuously operating public pier train in the world.
