Jacobs Cottage has 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with a single bed and one with bunk beds and a single bed. There is a shower room with toilet, shower and hand basin. Jacobs Cottage has 2 reception rooms, a kitchen/dining room with log burner, and a sitting room with a TV and DVD player. Jacobs Cottage is ideally situated at the bottom of the village only yards from the harbour/sea. It is only feet from a bakery and from delightful shops and galleries. It is an old fisherman cottage with immense character, thick wall and exudes warmth Jacobs Cottage is a dog-friendly cottage.

I have known Port Isaac since I was a child and have always loved its charm and friendly welcoming atmosphere not to mention its beauty and phenomenal walks from the cottage up along the rugged Cornish coast line. I bought Jacobs cottage without actually viewing it because I knew the superb position of it and the potential to bring back the character that had been covered up. This we did and every time I visit I am never disappointed. It is not a 5 star cottage but a wonderfully charactered fisherman's cottage with tells many stories. As your online host I will be there to answer your questions and to assist in making your trip fantastic.

Port Isaac, tucked away on the North Coast between Padstow and Boscastle, has recently been home to the television series 'Doc Martin' with Martin Clunes. Much of the village is 18th and 19th century and there a wonderful narrow streets and alleyways to explore. It is a maze of narrow lanes and pathways known as "drangs" with only one road through, along which traffic is discouraged. The harbour is stunning and feet from the cottage. The rugged coastline is fantastic.
