A listed building set in the heart of kelso next to kelso abbey and 100 yards from the central market square. Furnished appropriately for the style of property but with all modern facilities required for a relaxing stay.Comprising 4 bedrooms. One 4 poster room, one sleigh bed room both doubles . Two other double bedrooms both of which if requested can be twins with one room which has an additional single bed and a pull out sofa( own linen required)Also there are two large bathrooms with a large bath in each and one has a very large walk in shower the other a shower head with the bath .There is a large kitchen with seating area and all cooking facilities , fridge/freezer etc . Also there is a large dining room and lounge with sofas etc . The property is over 2000 square feet and there is a shared courtyard outside with seating, cycle rack and fishing rod rack . Plenty of parking available very close by with a large public carpark 80 yards away with charging facilities. The river tweed is approximately 200 yards away with riverside walks and there is a public open space just directly across the road from the property entrance. You will love kelso , it’s people and the variety of pubs , restaurants, local landmarks and scenery all around kelso .we hope you enjoy your stay , kind regards Jason
I originally holidayed in kelso 30 years ago mainly due to the salmon fishing but I discovered kelso had so much more to offer with its scenery , history, landmarks and the wonderful people of the town ,many now I am fortunate to call good friends ,it became my second home .I own a pest control business in Bedfordshire and live in a rented farmhouse so it made sense for me to buy a property in Kelso but finances do not let me have a second home without some income so when this property came on the market there was no hesitation as it is such a wonderful property and I converted it too a holiday let in 2020. We continue to improve it as funds allow with new carpets, huge shower, handrails etc . I hope you enjoy kelso as much as I do and you enjoy your stay with us , kind regards Jason
