Kidwelly farm cottage, Y Felin, is a barn conversion sleeping 10, with original oak beams and a wood burner. It has four bedrooms, one king-size, one family room and two twin bedrooms, all have en-suite bathrooms, one with disabled access shower wet room and the others with a bath/shower rooms. There is ample space for the family in the sitting room with comfy settees, a TV and DVD player. The dining area seats 10 comfortably and the kitchen is well equipped for a large family with a fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher, crockery, glasses and cutlery. Relax on our leather suites and enjoy a coffee on the mezzanine floor with the vaulted ceiling. There is a patio with your own Jacuzzi hot tub, a large enclosed garden, patio table and chairs, BBQ, children's play area with swings, slide, ride on buggies, trampoline and table tennis. There is ample secure parking and a utility room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Relax and rejuvenate in the outdoor sauna and cold plunge pool down by the brook. This unique experience is now available to book - Thirty Five pounds an hour. Hourly slots 9am, 10am, 11am - 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm. There are chickens in the field alongside the cottage and cattle, sheep and ponies in the nearby fields. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside in West Wales.

Peter and Ann love welcoming their guests to the farm and are proud of their four-star barn conversion. Kidwelly farm cottage has magnificent views of the countryside and nearby coastline. You can walk down the footpath from the farm, through the wood and over the stream to the ancient town of Kidwelly and visit the medieval castle and church. Have a coffee in Time for Tea or Kidwelly Deli before your walk back up. There is plenty of space and freedom for children to play and explore.

You will be spoilt for choice for beaches, castles, gardens, cycle paths and market towns. Kidwelly Castle on the doorstep is one of the best in Wales, with Carreg Cennin, Llansteffan Castle, Newton House and Dinefwr castle all close by. Pembroke castle is a bit further but well worth a visit. Cefn Sidan is a 7 mile stretch of safe sandy beach and is 4 miles away. Ferryside beach is 2 miles away and is perfect for sandcastles. Burry Port, 5 miles, has 2 beaches either side of the pretty harbour and both are safe for children. The glorious beaches of the Gower Peninsular and Tenby are within easy distance. Pembrey Country Park is 4 miles away and has a dry ski slope, horse riding, pitch and putt, an adventure playground, cycle paths and cycle hire and is part of Cefn Sidan beach. The Botanical Garden of Wales and Aberglasney House and gardens are a good day out. Watch the birds at The National Wetland Centre near Llanelli, 12 miles away. Carmarthen and Llandeilo are the old market towns of the area and have maintained their country character, with quality shops and places to eat.
