Tucked away just moments from the bustling heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, Little Forge is a beautifully designed retreat for two. Step into the open plan living space, which makes for a warm and sociable setting, after a day of exploring Bourton-on-the-Water. The village is famous for its beautiful high street with the River Windrush running through the centre and is dappled with cafes, boutiques, restaurants and pubs. Trundle back to Little Forge for a glass of wine whilst your curl up in front of the fire after getting lost in the many fascinating pitstops: Cotswold Motoring Museum, Birdland, The Model Village and The Cotswold Perfumery. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. There is space next to the cottage for one car to unload. There are streets nearby where there are no parking restrictions including Gas Works Lane, Clapton Row, Springfield and at the bottom of Victoria Street. Pets are not accepted at the cottage. There is no BBQ available at Little Forge and guests are not permitted to provide their own. Please note there is no garden or outside space at this property. Please note Little Forge is one of our adult only properties.

Bourton-on-the-Water is rightfully one of the Cotswolds most visited villages with a wealth of attractions, delightful shops and eating establishments to suit everyone’s taste. The River Windrush flows through the centre, and is spanned by several, low arched bridges flanked by wide village greens and lovely period Cotswold stone buildings, giving the village its well-known moniker of Venice of the Cotswolds. Forsythia is less than a minute’s walk from the river and its beautiful bridges, making it the perfect place to visit all the sights, including the Model Village, Birdland Park and Gardens, the Motor Museum, the Dragonfly Maze and the Cotswold Brewing Company.
