Lon Ban is situated at the most northwestern point of Skye. It is quite literally at "the end of the earth". We are located off the beaten track and peacefully away from civilization, allowing our guests to experience the "real Skye". Our seclusion benefits further from being in an area designated as a dark skys observatory, and the house is well away from passing traffic. Our views after dark are of the milky way, shooting stars and the occasional Aurora and in daylight hours are of the magnificent Dunvegan head and across loch Pooltiel to the Isle of Lewis and Harris. The highly revered Neist point Lighthouse is a delightful walk along the sea cliffs a short walk from our back garden.
Graham has been a hotel manager for 25 years and Sam is the Head teacher of two local schools.
Having managed hotels and luxury Chalets around the world we have now decided to open our home so as guests can experience the beauty and tranquility of where we live. Should you require any hints or tips for your travels to Skye please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Lon ban is a 15-20 minute drive from Dunvegan the third largest town on the Isle of Skye.
We are conveniently located 4 miles from the Three Chimneys restaurant and walking distance from the stunning Neist point Lighthouse.
