Lovell Cottage is a beautiful, luxury, Cotswold Stone cottage in the picture-perfect village of Old Minster Lovell, with a fantastic pub and spa within two-minutes' walk, scenic walks directly from the front door and still in easy reach of Burford, Witney, Oxford and Woodstock. The cottage sleeps 6 guests across 3 double bedrooms (one downstairs) and has 2 shower rooms, a superb kitchen-dining room and 2 reception rooms sharing a fabulous dual aspect wood burner. To the rear of the cottage is a typical English country garden, mostly laid to lawn, with planted borders and mature trees. A patio area with seating for 6 and a BBQ sits to one side of the garden. A path leads from the garden, past the kitchen door to a gate which opens to the parking area and front of the cottage. The garden, which is private and not overlooked, looks out over a large neighbouring garden and paddock (not for guests’ use). This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. 1 well-behaved dog/s are welcome for an additional fee of 40 GBP per dog. Lovell Cottage lies in Old Minster Lovell, the historic section of the beautiful village of Minster Lovell on the edge of Wychwood National Nature Reserve. The village has a church, pub, a country hotel with a spa, a village cricket club and fishing on the River Windrush. Head out the front door for fantastic local walks, including to the ruins of Minster Lovell Hall, a 15th century Oxfordshire manor house, which sits in a beautiful rural setting beside the river. Nearby Witney is a vibrant market town with excellent amenities and a thriving local community with a wide range of independent shops, restaurants and boutiques, as well as a cinema and larger stores including Waitrose and M&S.
