We have spent the last year renovating our property with the aim of making the same relaxing environment that we would expect from accommodation. This newly renovated apartment is themed on the nearby historic port of Charlestown which has been featured many times in film and television including Poldark. “Charlestown retreat” is a delightful ground floor apartment that has been fitted with hand painted furniture and has great attention to details in both décor and facilities, to make your stay as memorable and comfortable as possible. Relax in the spacious living room with the amazing Charlestown feature mural, or curl up in front the large screen smart TV with Netflix and Internet based TV channels, perfect for a cosy evening should you need to shelter from the Cornish mizzle. You are also welcome to play any of the games from our treasure chest, or read a book. The bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with soft Egyptian cotton linen and also features a smart TV for the ultimate relaxed viewing. There is also a well equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom, a back yard and parking. Located in St Austell town centre making it close to the train/bus station, restaurants, shops and other amenities without need to drive.

Located in St Austell town centre, there are lots of nice restaurants/cafes, a 5 screen cinema, bowling alley and a wide variety of shops, both locally owned and national brands, all within walking distance. Easy access from the town to walking and cycling paths in picturesque locations. The train station with the great connectivity to other towns in Cornwall is only about 10 minutes walk.
