Fabulous cottage in a perfect spot for exploring the area and for local cafes, pubs and distilleries. Spotlessly clean and with everything we needed. Nice wee touches including biscuits, milk, tea and coffee. Loved our stay.

This lovely house is nestled in a quiet road in the picturesque historic town of Dufftown, just a short walk from all the amenities which this lovely town has to offer. Dufftown is set in the heart of Speyside in north eastern Scotland, and is situated on the banks of the River Fiddich and the Dullan Water at the foot of the Conval Hills. Dufftown famous for its Glenfidich whiskey distillery, and its distinctive clock tower, and has some of the most stunning scenery in the Highlands of Scotland, with easy access to the Cairngorm National Park and the mountains on the West of Scotland. Closer to home there are numerous walks such as the stunning footpath to the summit of Ben Rinnes, where on a clear day you can take in the amazing views of the surrounding country side. For those of you who would like to relax there are multiple golf courses within easy travelling distance, also some of the best salmon and sea trout fishing in the world are at your fingertips. For the nature lovers amongst you there is the distinct possibility to see Red Kites, Red Deer, Buzzards, Red Squirrels and if you are really lucky there is also a small population of otters in some of the local rivers.
