The Moss Grove Organic offers 5-star guest accommodation. The spacious en suite rooms have flat-screen TVs, free internet access is available throughout. Complimentary organic afternoon tea, coffee and cake served each day. Under-floor heated bathrooms have spa baths and organic toiletries. The award-winning style buffet breakfast is served in the country kitchen. It includes an extensive selection of organic, local and fair trade produce. With a range of cereals, local Cumberland sausage, home made breads, cheeses, crostinis, ham and tapas dishes. Ideally situated in the heart of the Lake District in Grasmere village centre. Just over 500 metres from Grasmere Lake. The popular Lake District town Ambleside is just 4 miles to the South and 12 miles to the North is Keswick.

From the organic clay-based paint and natural screen-printed wallpaper through to the sheep fleece insulation, at Moss Grove Organic we strive to make all we do as natural and sustainable as possible. Whilst we aim to be more environmentally aware we don’t skimp on luxury. It is a fine balance of indulgence and sustainability as we marry such aspects to bring to you the ultimate in spectacular surroundings. Moss Grove Organic today is run by a small friendly team who work to create a ‘home from home’ so that our guests feel truly relaxed and comfortable throughout their stay in Grasmere. We look forward to seeing you!

Oplysninger om området

There are many walks from the doorstep, from the moment you arrive until the time comes to depart there is no need to use your car if you so wish. Within the village there are an abundance of eateries, outdoor shops, galleries, art and craft shops. William Wordsworth’s connections to Grasmere present the opportunity to visit the Wordsworth Museum and his former home Dove Cottage. The larger market town of Ambleside is just 4 miles south and to the north around a 25-minute drive is Keswick. There is the local open top bus which connects Grasmere to the wider area stopping every half hour in the village.
