Mowbray Stable Cottages, nestling on the Eastern edge of the North York Moors National Park, is the perfect place to stay for those for love the great outdoors, as well as fans of The Yorkshire Vet. The cottages are within walking distance of the quaint market town of Thirsk. Both are well equipped with everything you will need and enjoy countryside views and a south facing patio.
The one bedroom cottage is perfect for couples and their fury well behaved friends. The two bed cottage is great for guests that are less mobile as is level throughout and boasts a modern and stylish wet room. Kids and adults may love to come and see the animals and help with feeds.
Paul and I are busy dedicating our lives to building upon this place and ensuring our customers have a great stay. We love our animals and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Paul has found a new interest in baking ever since we have a steady supply of fresh eggs! We have built a customer base over the last three years and are pleased with our progress and the feedback we receive. We are still on a journey and its been hard work but very rewarding. We can't wait to fulfill our dreams for this place and have loved making friends with some of our regular customers!
The beauty about our spot is that it is in the countryside, but less than a mile into Thirsk itself. Our cottages are well set back from the main road in the village of South Kilvington. There are plenty of public footpaths around for short walks in the countryside and a local NISA and a garage a minute away in the car or ten minutes by foot.
