With its beautiful walled garden, grand interiors, and thoughtful amenities, this spacious home provides the perfect escape for families, groups, and those seeking both relaxation and indulgence. Whether you’re here to explore the countryside, gather with loved ones, or simply unwind in style, this is a truly special place to call home. What We Love About Our Cottage (And Hope You Will Too!) Please Note The back garden includes a children’s play set with a slide (approx. 1.5m high) and a swing. Use is strictly at your own risk, and children must be supervised at all times to avoid possible injuries. Additionally, there is a shallow unfenced pond in the garden, so extra care and supervision are required, particularly with young children. Please Note Please be aware our garden is professionally maintained on a regular schedule, this may sometimes overlap with guest stays as such someone may need to access the grounds area during your stay. They won’t need to enter the house or disturb you, and the work should be quick and unobtrusive.

Whilst the property is tucked away, out of site in a fairly remote part of the beautiful Berkshire countryside the nearby village of Burnham has plenty to offer with charming pubs and nice little restaurants within walking distance. Beyond this is the countryside with it’s huge range of activities available, whether you’re into being at one with nature by taking walks or bike rides along the River Thames, getting sporty with golf, cricket and football clubs within walking distance, or simply checking out the historic and royal sights within in the borough. Or perhaps you’re a foody and will revel in the idea of being a stone’s throw from the many Michelin star restaurants this area has to offer. It’s an ideal base for visiting London, Windsor, Legoland and the Thames Valley. You are lucky to be surrounded by some great attractions which are suitable for everyone! Along with the extensive list below, this also includes; Burnham Beeches, Savill Gardens, Bekonscot Model Village, Odds Farm Park and Dorney Court. Windsor Town Centre is easily reached from the property and here you will find the iconic Windsor Castle, The Long Walk, lots of shops and restaurants and it is just a short walk away from Eton and the College. Legoland is a great family day out, especially for the little ones! It is approximately 7 miles away and easily reached by car. Cliveden – this well known National Trust property and Country House is worth a visit for woodland walks and river views. If you’re feeling fancy – you could treat yourself to Afternoon Tea. Dorney Rowing Lake was famously used in the London 2012 Olympics. Today it is best enjoyed for walks, bike rides or other recreational activities whilst watching rowing events, triathlons and beautiful sunsets. For the adrenaline junkies and older families, head to Thorpe Park for a fun day out!
