I am a full time working mother with two children. My partner and I moved to East Harling just over 2 years ago although we have lived in Norfolk and in the surrounding villages and towns for most of our lives. We love Norfolk and all that it has to offer. We take every opportunity to get out and about within the village, taking long walks, adventurous bike rides, exploring the rivers and woodlands that we are so fortunate to have on our doorstep Our intention during your stay is for you to have a peaceful and uninterrupted stay. However, we do live next door and are often around and always happy for you to knock on our door if you have questions or queries. If we are not around then feel free to email, text or phone should you need anything.

The beautiful village of East Harling offers two lovely local pubs that serve good food. It also has a shop, bakery, butchers, Chinese, fish and chip shop, post office, hair dressers and hardware store all within walking distance. There is a recreation ground only a minutes walk away with a social club, tennis courts, outdoor gym, park and a lovely picnic area situated next to the river. Woodland surrounds the area and there are some lovely rural walks and cycle routes that link to the woodlands and beyond. The village is in a good central location and top attractions such as Banham zoo and Snetterton race track are just a 10 minute drive away. It is also situated close to the A11, which provides links to Norwich and Thetford. The historic town of Thetford is a 15 minute drive away and is the home of further attractions such as High Lodge with play areas dotted around the forest, beautiful trails winding through rich wilderness and thrilling mountain biking opportunities.
